GAS PUMP EXCHANGE FAQ’s

Who is the Gas Pump Exchange?

We are an independent supplier of used gas pumps, not committed to any one rebuilder or manufacturer, allowing us and our customers the freedom to benefit from the best equipment and value available for customers’ specific needs.  We are an open-source provider and include model numbers and trade marks for reference only.

What products and services does GPE provide?

GPE supplies used gas dispensers and Point-of-Sale systems, on either a fully reconditioned basis with warranty, or as-is complete.  We do not provide installation or contractor services.  Fully rebuilt and reconditioned refers to complete electrical testing and fluid testing, set up and ready to install.  Our specifications include new stainless sides, new black bezel graphics, and new white powder-coated lower doors.  Additional specs can be provided at an extra charge, such as custom logo graphics.  All reconditioned dispensers carry a 90-day limited parts warranty, with option to add a six-month to one-year extension at additional cost.  As-is dispensers are sold in “as-is” complete condition, with freight an additional cost.  See dispenser rebuilding specs (link here).

What are the GPE payment terms and policy?

For rebuilt dispenser purchases, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at which time specific parts are ordered, production started, and a delivery date is determined.  Upon order completion, all payments must be cleared in advance of shipment.

As-is dispenser purchases require 100% in-full cleared payment prior to shipment.  Freight and taxes are extra.

GPE provides all deliveries on a best-effort basis.  Commitments are confirmed in writing on the invoice, and in no case would verbal commitments apply.

GPE makes no collateral promises and no representations of warranties, express or implied, other than those contained in writing on the invoice.  In no case does liquidated damages apply, attorney fees paid to the prevailing party in the State of California.
